Strep A Test Guide

1. Preparation before the test:
   Make sure the test cassette, test tubes and neck top sample are at room temperature (15-30 ° C) before starting.
   
   
2. Take the neck top test:
   Use the sterile podium that comes with the set.
   
   Take the sample from the rear of the neck and the areas around the tonsils. Be careful not to touch the tongue, cheeks or teeth with the podium.
   
   
3. Prepare the test:
   Open the foil bag and remove the test cassette. Use it within an hour.
   
   Add 4 drops of the extraction reaction 1 (the red liquid) to the extraction pipe.
   
   Then add 4 drops of the extraction reaction 2 (the colorless liquid) to the tube. Mix it by gently shaking the tube until the solution changes color from red to yellow.
   
   
4. Use the podium in the extraction pipe:
   Put the podium in the tube and stir around 15 times.
   
   Leave the podium in the tube for one minute.
   
   Remove the graft from the tube while you make sure to press it against the side of the tube to hold the most liquid in the pipe.
   
   
5. Complete the test:
   Put a drop pipettes tip on the extraction tube.
   
   Place the test cassette on a clean, flat surface.
   
   Add 3 drops of the solution to the sample well on the test cassette.
   
   Start your timer and wait for 5 minutes.
   
   
6. Read the result:
   
   One positive Tests show two colored lines.
   
   One negative Tests show only one colored line.
   
   If no control line appears or if you are unsure of the result, the test is void, and you need to repeat the test with a new test cassette.
