Use

The INSTI HIV-1/HIV-2 Antibody Test is a rapid, qualitative in vitro immunoassay for the detection of antibodies to Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1 (HIV-1) and type 2 (HIV-2).

Interpretation of Results

  • Non-reactive: Only one blue control dot appears.
  • Reactive: Two blue dots appear – one control dot and one test dot.
  • Invalid: If the control dot does not appear.

A reactive result is considered preliminary and must be confirmed by laboratory testing.
