This chlamydia self-test is used for the qualitative detection of Chlamydia trachomatis antigens in a sample from a female cervical/vaginal swab or a male urethral swab. The test is designed for home use and is therefore not the professional version used by healthcare personnel.

You can read the result after 10 minutes. The result should not be interpreted after 20 minutes, as this may lead to an incorrect reading.
Can both men and women use the test?
Yes, this chlamydia self-test is intended for both men and women. Men use a urethral swab, while women use a cervical/vaginal swab.
What should I do if the test is positive?
If the result is positive, you should contact a doctor and show the test result. The doctor can assess whether further analysis or treatment is needed.
Can a negative chlamydia self-test be wrong?

Chlamydia test use
This is a step -by -step guide to sampling mhp. to get an immediate answer/result on chlamydia test via lightning test cassette.
Step 1:
Sampling chlamydia test men:
Before the podium 2-4 cm. up in the urethra. Turn the podium around 360 degrees and let the stick sit in the urethra for 10 seconds. Then pull it out.
Sampling chlamydia test women:
Before the podium into the vagina, until most of the stick is no longer visible. Turn the podium around 360 degrees and leave the stick in the vagina for 15 seconds. Then pull it out. Try to avoid contamination from the outer part of the genitals.
Step 2:
Keep reagent bottle 1 vertically, while 6 drops of the liquid are dripped into the extraction pipe. Before the podium down into the tube. Press each side to the tube and squeeze the podium. Now turn the podium 15 times and leave the tube for 2 minutes.
Step 3:
Keep reagent bottle 2 vertically, while 7 drops of the liquid are dripped into the extraction pipe. Before the podium down into the tube. Also press each side of the tube and squeeze the pod. Turn the podium 15 times around and leave the tube for 1 minute.
Step 4:
Press the liquid out of the podium by pressing the stick against the side of the tube and then pull it out while squeezing the tube. Let as much fluid stay in the tube as possible.
Step 5:
Put the included pipettes tip on top of the extraction pipe.
Step 6:
Place the test cassette horizontally on a surface. Then drip 3 whole drops into the sample burning. Wait 10 minutes and read the result. Do not read results older than 30 minutes.

How does chlamydia infect?
Chlamydia is a contagious sex disease that spreads among sexually active persons.
In women, the chlamydia bacterium primarily settles in the cervix, but can also be found in the urethra.
In men, the chlamydia bacterium settles in the urethra, but both sexes risk the bacterium spreading to the internal genitals. This can lead to inflammation of the fallopian tubes of women and in the bites in men. In addition, chlamydia can also infect the rectum and throat of both genders.

When can one test for chlamydia?
The time from being infected with chlamydia until you can measure and detect the presence of the infection can vary. For chlamydia, it will usually take five days to three weeks after you are infected before a test can detect chlamydia.
How long does it go before chlamydia is gone?
With the right treatment, chlamydia goes away within one to two weeks. It is refraining from sexual contact during the treatment period.
