    The gonorous test contains:

    1x reagent fluid 1 (gonorrhea)
    1x testament fluid 2 (gonorrhea)
    1x Test chip
    1x Podeste (Female / Unisex)
    1x extraction pipe
    1x pipettes tip

    Guide

    1a) (woman)

Carefully insert the swab further into the cervix, to the point where you can hardly see the tip of the swab. This is to ensure that you get the cells where the chlamydia bacteria are most often found. Turn the cotton swab around a whole lap either with or counterclockwise, let it sit still for 15 seconds, and then gently remove again. Try to avoid contamination from vaginal cells or mucus / secretion outside the vagina.

    1b) (man)

Before the podium approx. 2-4 cm into the urethra. Turn the podium 360 degrees around (clockwise or counterclockwise), leave it in the urethra for 10 seconds, then pull it out of the urethra.

    2.

Hold the reagent bottle 1 vertically and drizzle 8 drops of the liquid into the extraction pipe. Place the podium in the tube. Press each side of the extraction pipe so that the podium is trapped between the two sides of the extraction pipe. Now turn the podium around 15 times. Leave the tube for 2 minutes.

    3.

Keep reagent bottle 2 vertical and drizzle 5 drops of the liquid into the extraction pipe. Place the podium in the tube. Press each side of the extraction pipe so that the podium is trapped between the two sides of the extraction pipe. Now turn the podium around 15 times. Leave the tube for 1 minute.

    4.

Press the podium against the side of the tube and pull it out as you squeeze the pipe. Then let
much fluid as possible stay in the tube.

    5.

Put the pipettes tip on top of the extraction tube.

    6.

Drizzle 3 whole drops of the liquid into the sample well (S) on the test cassette and read the result after 10 minutes. Do not read results after 30 minutes.

    Gonore Test FAQ

    Gonore: Frequently asked questions

What are the symptoms of gonorrhea?

Symptoms of gonorrhea can vary and include burning sensation by urination, increased discharge from the penis or vagina, painful or swollen testicles, and pain in intercourse in women. However, many people experience no symptoms.

    Can Gonore be cured?

Gonorrhea can usually be cured with an appropriate antibiotic treatment. It is important to take the entire antibiotic cure as prescribed, even if the symptoms disappear and to inform sexual partners so that they can also be treated.

Can you get gonore by kissing?

It is rare, but gonorrhea can be transferred through kisses if you have an active infection in the pharynx. However, the most common transfer pathway is through unprotected sexual contact, including oral sex.

When should one take a gonorous test?

It is important to be tested for gonore if you have one or more symptoms of STD. If you have several different partners, it is a good idea to become gonorous tested regularly, as many people find that they do not get symptoms of the STD. Gonore also bears the impression of sharing symptoms with other STDs, including chlamydia, which increases the risk of being infected with gonore without knowing it.

    • Symptoms of gonore

Gonore is a very common sex disease in Denmark that often does not show symptoms, making it difficult to detect without a test. About half of women and one -third of men experience no immediate signs of gonore when infected, which puts them at risk of long -term health challenges. At the same time, this increases the chance of unconsciously infecting one's sexual partners.

Typical symptoms if they occur are often:

      • Yellow or greenish discharge from the urethra or vagina,
      • Sting by urination,
      • Discharge from the rectum, especially after anal intercourse,
      • In women, the infection can spread to the fallopian tubes, which can lead to abdominal inflammation with intense pain,
      • Fever and pain as well as swelling of the large joints can also occur as symptoms.

It is important to be tested regularly for Gonore, especially if you have more sexual partners. Nordic Tests Gonoretest provides a discreet and easy way to be tested for gonore, which helps with safe early infection tracking and treatment. View the selection of gonoret test here.

How often should one be tested?

It is generally recommended to be tested for gonore by unprotected sex or after sexual contact with a partner who is infected.

Gonore can show symptoms within 2-14 days of infection, but many experience few, or no symptoms at all, making regular testing important to avoid undetected infection.

The time from being infected with a sexually transmitted disease until one can measure and detect the presence of the disease can vary depending on the type of disease.

For this reason, it can also be difficult to know if you have been infected before experiencing symptoms, such as burning during urination or discharge from the urethra.

    Treatment by positive gonoret test

Gonore can be treated effectively with antibiotics.

In most cases, a one -time dose of Ceftriaxon is used. After treatment, it is recommended to be tested again to ensure that the STD is healed.
